Precious Memories

friday after work went to City Chain at Suntec to look for my cousin to buy a new watch strap as my DKNY strap gets very yellowish already..i waited 45 minutes for him as he was attending to a customer who took so bloody long to purchase a watch which is only 100 plus.. was like WTH...after waiting for so long, only to realise i didnt bring my watch along so i couldnt choose or change my strap!! WTF right..so i took a bus down to bf's place for dinner :) stayover and the next day, i headed straight down to Woodlands to perm my hair, medicure =) Then meet up with my siblings as they went there to watch movie and drove back home..change over and headed to pick Evern, Jocelyn and Jenny over to Dixon's party !!!

YEAH!! took awhile to get in as we were writting messages in the birthday card..the event was cool with the white roses scattered all over the floor..i would love to do that for my wedding as well..HAHHA..it gives me some inspirations! LOL..cam whore, eat, chat and left the party at 10plus heading to holland v to get some snacks and a small brownie as a birthday cake for jenny! =) reach jenny's awesome place at 11 plus 12 and we started to take loads of pic, looking ard her place. Soon settled down with Jerel, wanqi and xx to play the football thingy..me & jerel were a perfect match!! We beaten xx & wanqi, evern & wanqi !! HAHAHAHA :) Then it was the surprise cake time and then we played mj..Evern, joc, jason & xx left early while the rest (tina, wanqi, sab, jerel, me & jenny) stayed till 6 plus..tina drove wanqi back while i drove jerel & sab back..HOME at 7 and slept at 7 plus..

mum woke me up at 11 plus the next day..was dead tired with minimum sleep and head out for breakfast cum lunch-some bak kuet teh and then to Chinatown for some grocery shopping & clothes too! I bought 2 tops..Then to ECP to skate and cycle then Suntec Crystal Jade for dinner, continue shopping, bought a Puma jacket and HSH :) Dead tired, slept at 12 midnight..

loads of fun these days but missing bf loads too..

glad to know its vice versa =)

I'm enjoying every bit of my life with that someone extremely important in my life =)

It used to be weird or uncomfy staying over at his place but as time passes, i'm so damn used to sleeping over. I even asked him to get his mum to buy extra pillows coz the ones he had was too soft..Now, i've new pillows, soon i'll get new bolster too as we always snatches it. LOL..i had my swim wear, undergarments, clothes, pjyamas, hair conditioner, body lotion, facial foam like almost everything there. HAHA. bf even cleared one column of his cupboard for me to place my stuffs (:

The stayover is getting a lit crazy that even my colleague says in a week, i stay over at his place for 5 days. LOL. Well, true enough i toss and turn when im sleeping at home and i fell asleep so quickly at bf's place. maybe coz a sense of security? or his smell? I don't know but both bf and i thought it would be great if i could soon move in and stay with him =D

The happiest part of all would most pro be getting along with his parents. In the begining i was like freaking out each and every time but now its so enjoyable. Playing mahjong with them, watching tv, eating breakfast, lunch, dinner =) His parents really treats me well..bringing me out to eat expensive & good food, buying lunch back for me when bf's out for work and i'm sleeping late, bringing me out for breakfast when bf's out for work (and bf still sms me and says: happily eating breakfast with in laws. LOL), caring for me when i'm sick, fetching me & bf to airport early in the morning when we went off to bkk, and was there to fetch us back too, even sent me and my luggages home :) What else can i ask for? I guess i'm the most fortunate girl =)

I love my bf and his family and those lit hamsters of ours :) They will make a great family!

Ever since i started working, i've been falling sick easily, always down with gastric which it never hit me in the past. I've gotten 4 Mc so far and 3 of them are gastric pain. Like WTH. But as usual bf was super duper nice to me..fetch me after work, sent me to his place, gave me medicine and the next day he was working but still he came home halfway to send me to the doctor and acc me for lunch and sent me home. The funniest and sweetest part was when he wanted to buy fruit juice for me, he asked the auntie which fruit cures stomach pain and an irritating guy said "stomach pain go see doc la" and bf was pissed off and said "see alr" and stared at him!! LOL..deep in my heart i thought, i can count on him, he always give me a sense of security =)

Looking back, if anyone were to ask if i ever regretted waiting so long for him, i would say...

Good things are always worth the wait for they don't come by easily

Wednesday, met up with Sab, Michelle & Sheena for a gathering as its been long since we last saw Sheena. Too bad, Yeelin got caught up with some stuffs and gave it a miss! While, Burberry was having sales, as usual i couldnt get anything of my size as i'm always late. LOL

In June, i bought one polo tee for my dad, and now, one for my mum when on both occasions i wanted to get one for myself initially. =( But then again, their S size is like super duper big, that i need an XS which they dont have. I'm still really upset about it. I remember vividly the first time i went shopping with bf and he wanted to buy one for me but all the Burberry in spore no longer have that design in S. :(

After a short shop, we went to Wheelock's place and had our WORST dinner at the Big O. It should be named Big NO instead! The food isnt f**king fantastic, the prices arent that expensive but its just so not worth the price! I had NAKED potatos with no bacons or whatever! A plain glass of coke cost $4.50. Oh well, call me a cheapo but seriously its not worth it! I mean Macdonalds taste much better than them. Even coffeeshop chicken chop taste far better! Oh, they still got that little comment cards placed on the table. I couldnt even think of what to write! Anyway, me, michelle and sab will never ever lay our feet in that restaurant in future. As for Sheena, she thinks the food was alright. Hmmm, weird..she should be the most demanding in food.. LOL

Nice lazing around at home during my OFF days. =) Played Mahjong with my siblings and went out to meet Sab, Jo & Dixon in town for dinner! Went to Spageddies at Paragon and ordered lots of delicious food. I would say the food there is good but not the service. For me, i don't find it comfortable paying 10% service charge for a service that was not delivered at all. Well, maybe cause i work in a service industry where service excellence is always enhanced.

It was really a great meet up, getting to see Jo since donkey years ago. Really enjoyable and obviously we were teasing Dixon and laughing our hearts out. But sad to say we didnt manage to stay longer to catch a movie later as Dixon do not have a car!! We have to rush back home before there's no more public transport! So well, i sent them off to the bus stop while waiting for my bf to come pick me up. Off to his place for stayover and he fetched me home the next morning. :)

Reached home around 0845hrs and went back to bed again. Woke up at 1100hrs as dad asked if we would like to head to Malaysia. As i just received horrible emails on raping there, i hesitated. I even told my parents not to go as it is unsafe. In the end, my parents and my little bro head there together with my dad's friends while me & my little sister drove out for breakfast. Bought lots of snacks and head home for mahjong again! Around evening, received an sms from Song Cherng asking me out for mahjong but was already in the midst of one at home so i push it off, well, next time! =) Lost pretty badly that day but lucky little sister help me win back some $$$ so the lost was not that great but still, it hurts. LOL

back to work the next day ='(

sometimes i wish i was back to those school days where i don't have to wake up that early or work. i could just slack. but then again, i love seeing that figure in my bank every month. HAHA, at least it gives me great sense of satisfaction buying things using ur own money and treating ur loved ones

Met up with Dixon & Sab in town :) It was a great shopping spree i would say. As it was the sales period and Dixon is a club 21 member, we went to A|X to buy some clothes. After exploring the Takashimaya & Paragon branch, we ended up buying all of our stuff at Paragon as the staffs were more friendly & helpful. =)

ME - 3 tops for boyfriend, 2 tops for myself

SAB - 1 top

DIXON - 1 shirt, 1 cap & 1 shoes

We then head off to CK where Dixon bought another long sleeve shirt and off we head to the airport! Had Popeye but only ordered one set of 3 pieces meal as we did not have much appetite due to the long bus journey. However, when we started our bite, we wanted more!! Dixon went to Q for it but we were afraid we might be late to pick up Joanne so we decided to go without. ='(  Our intention was to pick Joanne and give her a surprise as she's only aware that dixon will be picking her up. But it was a wasted trip in the end as her flight landed at 2130hrs, we waited till 2230hrs but she was out of sight so we all thought we had missed her! Sadly, we left the airport. We then got to know that she was shopping at DFS as she didnt expect someone to be picking her up. Weirdly, i wasn't angry but was sad as i didnt get to meet up with her.

Took train with sab and i drop off at Aljunied and boyfriend came to fetch me =) stayover at bf's place when he fetch me home the next morning at 0820hrs as he got to visit a site at west side too.

It was a simple yet much enjoyable day for me =)

After so long, boyfriend & i finally successfully went for a holiday trip :)

I know, we've been planning for so long, Redang, Thailand blar blar blar but it never came true. So, it was great that our plans for Thailand eventually went through =)

It was a 4 days 3 nights stay at the Courtyard Marriott Bangkok and it was extremely fantastic. The room was really nice, especially the comfy beds & the beautiful bathroom i would say :) Service was great too! Staffs were very friendly and helpful!

On the 8th, boyfriend came to pick me up after my work and fetch me to his place where i stayed over. Woke up the next morning at 0430hrs as our flight departs at 0710hrs. Boyfriend's parents then fetched us to the airport. Can you imagine our luggages weighed 11kg even before we fly off?! And what, its 3kg more to excess baggages which we will be charged if any. So well, we know we will sure hit the excess baggages as we are there to shop! Next, its about time the flight take off and i'm freaking out as im afraid of taking planes. You know, too much of media influence and you know, plane crash etc. So well...Boyfriend was nontheless caring and held me tightly as the plane took off. 2 hours later, we reached Bangkok!

Day 1 ( 9 Nov 08 )

As i requested for an earlier check in, we got our rooms at around 0900hrs. =) We went into the room #209 and unpack our luggages. Place our passport and valuables in the safe and visited the Concierge desk for some information. Took the free tuk tuk provided by our hotel and head to the BTS (MRT) station. 2 stations away, it is the Asia hotel and just opposite that its the Pierre Tailor where boyfriend's friend recommended him. Tailored made clothes were so cheap and boyfriend decided to choose 3 cloths first to be made and fit on the next day. Off we head to the shop next door for some delicious bee hoon soup. These are really great food in Bangkok especially with the chilli flakes. =) Then, BTS again this time about 8 stations to Chat Tuk Chat (weekend night market). Shopping there wasn't really fantastic as it was so hot and there were over hundreds stalls! So, i just bought a few items and off me & boyfriend head back to hotel. We got back to rest and shower and went to Siam Paragon for dinner. Had mos burger there and it was freaking CHEAP! whole set for like less than $5. Then we continue our shopping at the Siam shophouses, bought more clothes and some snacks, cup noodles. Went back to hotel had our "supper", watch movie (there are so many channels in the room: HBO etc) & off to bed.

Day 2 ( 10 Nov 08 )

Woke up at 0900hrs and changed over to head downstairs for breakfast. Its hotdogs, eggs, waffles, beehoon, fried rice etc. boyfriend and i love the fresh fruit juice especially. We'll have them daily. me - watermelon, boyfriend - orange. Head back to room to shower and head off to Siam again for shopping. Siam is extremely big with shopping malls and shop houses so it will take days to finish touring the whole area. Went to shopping malls today, Siam Paragon, Siam Centre and then went to the tailor shop to do fitting for boyfriend's shirts and went back to Siam area to continue shopping again. Both boyfriend and i agreed that our 2nd day is the most fruitful day of all as we both bought alot of clothes that we really liked :) Dinner at Pizza Hut, it was really cheap as well. I cant finish the pizza and the onion rings so we take away back to hotel for supper! =) Then we head to MBK to shop and bought lots of local snacks for our colleagues and family. We ate Swensens as well which is like $1 and its $4 or $5 in Singapore!! *Hmmph! Went back to hotel, get the rooms service to warm up our pizza and we gave them the onion rings. =) watch movie and off to bed :)

Day 3 ( 11 Nov 08 )

Woke up for breakfast and went to the Grand Palace (Famous and extremely big temple in Bangkok) as boyfriend wants to go there and pray. I couldn't believe that there's actually a charge for admission. 300 baht!! For a temple?? And we have to pay additional 30 baht for joysticks!! like wth??? But anyway, we spend an hour there and left for Pratunam and Platinum Mall. Shopping again and of cause i bought more clothes =D Had dinner at Pratinum mall for the bee hoon soup again, its soooo delicious and im missing it so badly now. Their mango freeze is just $1.50,singapore will be around $3 - $4? After that we took a tuk tuk down to Suan Lum Night Market. Back to hotel, cup noodle and movie again, then -.-zzz

Day 4 ( 12 Nov 08 )

Breakfast, back to room to try to pack our luggage as we bought so much! then got the bellman to carry it down and weigh it for us. mine was freaking 13kg, boyfriend 12kg = 25kg, way over the limit of 14kg. Then we head back to Siam Paragon to purchase the Boots items for my elder sister, which i really regret buying them. After that, we took the BTS and head to Health Land Spa for massage!! 2 hours thai massage with dear dear :) He was being very annoying. When people ask: you guys are here for honeymoon, he says, no i dont't know her. When they said he's dashing, he points at me and said im ugly! WTH! but i love him still :) cause he loves me for who i am, ugly or whatever! =) Then we finished our massage and head back to hotel to get our luggage and off we head to the airport where it turns my trip sour.

Upon reaching the airport, we got the news that we will be fine for excess baggage, and that really sucks cause they don't accept credit cards, only thai baht. Which means we have to change our currency at the airport, offering the worst rate in the whole country! which pissed me again again. Then we paid for it and we went to the VAT trying to claim back our taxes but to realise that we have to have another form to get the money back, and that form can only be obtained at the shopping mall where we purchased our items. That really sucks big time. I hit the roof knowing that the airport reprensentative cannot be flexible to situations. Fine, fancy spending so much over there and helping their economy! Next, it was the worst part of all and it really send my blood boiling! I forgotten to place the Boots items that i bought for my sister into the check in luggage and its in my handcarry luggage and the both items are 400ml each which e limit is 100ml. F**K it and i had to throw those newly bought items away! boyfriend watched me helplessly and i hug bf and teared.

He was the greatest person i've ever met. Without him, i don't know how i would survive. He was extremely caring not to mention understanding. We board the plane and fortunately nobody's sitting with us so we got 1 extra seat so i lay on bf's lap and sleep. Just as i was falling asleep, the plane shakes so badly that it woke me up & everyone on the plane were like freaking out. I was scared outta my mind and bf hugged me tightly as everyone were given instructions to sit straight and put on our seat belts again! The plane felt as if the wind was going to blow it away and i was so afraid that it will crash! i still don't wana end my life. I still wana get married with my bf, give birth to cute little ones and grow old with him. I've got so much more to do with my life. Just then, everything seems back to norm and as i hug bf and kiss him, i thought to myself, i really can't live without this man by my side. 

His presence is significant.
